Ugh, shoes. I have such a hate-hate relationship with them, lol. I remember as a kid I went barefoot all the time, I still remember running down the dirt lane on my grandparents farm - so fun. It's hard to go barefoot here because 1.Lots of sun and lots of pavement, and 2.It's freaking dirty, so dirty, lots of broken glass, etc. But, after reading the link from ran prier's site, I'm going to start walking barefoot more often, when I can, anyways.
I used to go barefoot when I lived in TX all the time, but they actually kick you out of places if you don't have shoes on, haha. And I know that I used to go barefoot in the summer when the pavement was 8 billion degrees - please tell me why I can't do that anymore??!!
